PREVENT 2.0 isn’t a standalone project — it’s part of a Connections portfolio built over time around the digitalization of state institutions: ECRIS for the judiciary, critical infrastructure projects for STS, alongside the PREVENT system, developed and maintained from 2017 to today.
The system’s direct beneficiaries are ANI, as administrator, integrity inspectors, who review the warnings generated and decide on the necessary measures, and ANI’s leadership, who get an overview of caseload volume. Contracting authorities don’t use the system directly, but they supply the underlying data through the Integrity Form — meaning the project’s impact is felt, indirectly, in every public procurement procedure run through SEAP/SICAP.
For Connections, projects like PREVENT 2.0 confirm the role we take on in GovTech: that of a technical partner for public institutions with strict requirements around security, legal compliance, and the pressure to deliver without room for error. That’s exactly what #TechHumanityForward means to us — technology built not to impress, but to work where it matters most: in the relationship between citizens and the state.
