From time to time, we like to ask ourselves: what makes us special?
Just like any organization that’s here to grow, we constantly look at what we do well and what we want to further develop—so that the people in our team can grow and find strong points of connection here, anchors that, at the end of the day, become real reasons for satisfaction.
Because we all know it: the success of any organization is closely tied to the continuous development of its people and to those “positive” reasons that keep team members coming back, day after day—whether they’re working from the office or from home.
That’s why we’re always glad to see our efforts to offer the team resources and development opportunities are appreciated. And starting today, we’re opening the door for you too—industry peers, IT newcomers, and beyond—to take a look at how we do things at Connections.
Learning platform
We wanted to make learning simple: a single platform where you can access a wide range of professional topics you’re interested in and choose your own learning path. And as you progress, you unlock access to increasingly advanced courses.
That’s why we’ve provided our colleagues with a learning platform that meets all these needs, offering access to the right knowledge for every level of specialization.
We also know that gamification makes the learning process more engaging and enjoyable. For every lesson you complete on the platform, you earn points and move up in the leaderboard.
The platform features over 800 courses designed to help you grow a wide variety of skills—from business know-how and career management to leadership and stress management.
Feeling blocked by emotions? Afraid of public speaking? Struggling with social interactions or time management? These are challenges that can be overcome—and the more courses you complete, the more empowered you’ll be to shine, both professionally and personally.
Face-to-Face learning
We spend a lot of time in front of screens, and most of our interactions happen online. It works well—and our results prove it. But meeting in person also helps us grow together.
That’s why, when our colleague Mihai Paraschivescu offered to travel from Cluj to Bucharest to help fellow Connectors lay the groundwork for using the Angular framework, we were more than excited—and happy to come together for a face-to-face learning session.
The colleagues who joined the session learned some essential Angular concepts, as well as more advanced topics like TypeScript and RxJS. Mihai is a perfectionist and one of our true growth contributors, so he didn’t stop at theory—we dove into practical exercises as well, getting hands-on experience with Angular. Then we went further into topics like Bindings, Content Projection, and Templating.
It’s a session we’ll definitely replicate—because collective knowledge is one of the most valuable tools in any team.
Present. Fresh. With Transparent Realities.
Sometimes we keep apps running constantly on our devices and forget to give ourselves the space to enjoy a moment of quiet. We talk openly about this, because it’s an urban challenge that affects us all, no matter the industry we’re in. The way you manage your time and emotions has a direct impact on the quality of each day.
That’s why our colleague Aura Damaschin—an expert and high performer in the field—captured our attention when she organized a Mindfulness Workshop. For two days, seven of our colleagues had the chance to step away from the daily rush and immerse themselves in a peaceful environment, purposefully designed to teach the art of mindfulness.
They explored simple, practical techniques for managing stress, improving focus, and staying present—all in a setting that blended relaxation with learning.
Whether it was through deep breathing exercises or techniques to clear the mind of distractions, participants left with valuable tools to help them navigate the busy world around them with greater clarity and calm.
It was a fantastic opportunity to recharge and reconnect with ourselves in a fresh, interactive way.
We’ll share more about how we embrace continuous learning and how mindfulness remains a key anchor for us at Connections in our upcoming articles.
