2025: A Year of Purposeful Technology

Looking back at 2025, one theme connects everything we did at Connections: technology with purpose.
Deliberate, responsible, and humancentric technology built to change for good, to last, to matter.

Throughout the year, we navigated a complex economic and geopolitical context, accelerated technological change, and rising expectations around digital resilience.

Our response was to move fastwith clarity, discipline, and intent. And to tell the story of our business and mission with every public appearance.

January–February: Setting the Tone

We started the year by contributing to conversations that matter.

From cybersecurity in healthcare to capital markets and investor confidence, our leadership was present where strategic dialogue shapes longterm decisions. These early moments reinforced a belief that stayed with us all year: digital transformation only works when technology, regulation, and human responsibility move together.

In January Bogdan was speaker at  CLUB ANTREPRENOR and Ziarul Pozitiv event – „Cercetare și inovare în sănătate”

And in February, Bogdan attended the Investors Forum 2025, by Ziarul BURSA

March: Innovation, Recognized

In March, two of our products, QuickMerlin and NexGen.AI, were featured in Business Magazin’s catalog of The Most Innovative Companies in Romania.

This recognition validated our focus on automation that reduces error and complexity, platforms that accelerate development without compromising control and innovation designed for real enterprise ecosystems.

At the same time, our colleagues Cătălin-Ionuţ PârcioagăCiprian OnofreiciucAlexandru Tudor & Ionut Stanescu continued to learn and exchange knowledge internationally, including at Oracle CloudWorld Tour London. Because staying relevant means staying curious.

April: Strategic Focus

April marked a strategic defining step: the sale of our Service Delivery division.

This decision was about focus. By streamlining our portfolio, we doubled down on areas where we can generate the greatest longterm value: advanced technology, cybersecurity, AI, and datadriven systems. It was a move rooted in discipline, designed to support sustainable growth and stronger execution.

May: A New Identity, Same Belief

In May, we introduced our refreshed visual identity. While the look evolved, the belief behind it remained unchanged: technology should serve humanity, not the other way around

#TechHumanityForward became more than a statement. It became a lens through which we evaluate every product, every partnership, and every decision.

June–August: Investing in the Next Generation

Throughout the summer, we stayed close to the future of our industry.

In July, Cătălin-Ionuţ PârcioagăMaria-Cătălina Luca, and Ionut Stanescu returned to university halls to meet students at the Faculty of Automation and Computer Science,  and Bogdan Florea took part in the conference “Digitalizarea și securitatea cibernetică” by Ziarul Bursa answering to the question: How do we address cyber challenges in a world accelerated by AI and digitalization?

In August, we supported professional communities like the Romanian Oracle User Group

And also opened our doors to interns, many of whom chose to continue their journey with us

These moments reflected a constant priority: investing in people, in learning, and in the transfer of knowledge between generations.

September–October: Endurance and Team Spirit

Whether in technology or in life, endurance matters.

October brought a different kind of milestone: our colleagues Silviu Ciprian SauleaIonut StanescuCiohodaru Ionut-Bogdan, Iliescu Alexandru, Cătălin-Ionuţ Pârcioagă, Grigorescu Cristian, Ștefan Sorin BODEA, Voicu Ionuț Ștefan, Gabriel Hazi, Dimișcă Cosmin-Gabriel participated in the Bucharest Marathon. It was a reminder that performance is built through consistency, preparation, and teamwork — values that apply just as much to business as they do to running.

November: Leadership, Results, and Responsibility

In November, leadership and performance converged.

Bogdan Florea spoke at BUSINESS Magazin CEO Awards where the topic of interest was Leadership in the AI era. Bogdan emphased that executive responsibility cannot be delegated to algorithms. Technology can assist, but leadership remains human.

Honoring the invitation of RFI Romania [Constantin Rudnitchi and Andreea Orosz], Bogdan Florea, joined a conversation at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, about how research and innovation really work in today’s economy.

The same month, we published our nine month financial results, among the strongest in the company’s history, confirming that disciplined strategy and focused execution deliver measurable outcomes.

🔹 111.1M RON revenues, up 76% compared to the first nine months of 2024
🔹 29% gross profit margin
🔹 32.4M RON gross profit and 31.2M RON net profit
🔹 Public sector software projects reached 60% of total revenues
🔹 A newly operational support center now contributes 3% to overall revenue

People at the Core

Alongside projects and performance, 2025 was also about culture.

Through internal initiatives like Power Up and Meet Our Connectors (second edition), we continued to highlight the people behind the technology. Training, certifications, and continuous development remained central, reinforcing a simple truth: strong systems are built by strong teams

Looking Ahead

2025 strengthened our conviction that we grew because we understood context, accepted responsibility, and chose to build technology that creates lasting value.

As we step into 2026, we are determined to act with clarity and focus, ready to build what comes next, together.
